Gujarat’s First Vande Metro Will Connect Ahmedabad to Dholera
Regional connectivity is about to level up in Gujarat with the launch of its first Vande Metro, connecting Ahmedabad, the commercial capital to the developing technologically advanced Dholera smart city. With a broader vision, the initiative will help to modernize Gujarat's transportation network and promote economic growth. Recently, a landmark project has been achieved for India in terms of infrastructural and economic development. The Central Government has sanctioned Rs 466 crores for starting the construction work of the Broad Gauge Railway Line from Dholera to Bhimnath. The railway project would be of much importance to India as it will help to improve connectivity with Dholera. The approval of the project is a path to the government’s intent to make Dholera a hub of progress and innovation, which aligns with the vision of a self-reliant India.

Hence, this is a railway project not merely as an improvement in infrastructure but a step toward a greener and more efficient India.
